Seasons are separate from your regular character so your progress on your other toon won't be lost. If it were hard, I'd probably would just get sick of it and quit. It's honestly the best way to play the game but I say just finish the story then jump into adventure mode on your made character or dive into seasons. Seasons are where the majority of the playerbase is so you could get power leveled to 70 in a matter of minutes. Yes, Diablo 3 is very easy until you have hit 60 the first time and can crank it up to Torment. ![]() Seasons are a fresh start every few months, we're in the middle of one currently. Then getting to level 70 should be your next goal, followed by a grind for better and better gear.Īlso, check out season play if you're looking to jump into a faster way to obtain a set (strong pieces of gear). The game literally guides you and gives you free sets and ensures you progress smoothly. To a veteran, even T16 difficulty easy in D3 at this point. The only real challenge is in the endgame, doing higher greater rifts which scale beyond the standard difficulties. Today, Diablo 3 is designed to hook people so D4 will sell more copies. This is decieving, giving new players a false image of the difficulties. The "real game" doesn't begin until you beat Maltheal and unlock adventure mode. Due to the way the game has evolved, with all of its power creep and other factors, it has become very easy to new players. The story is basically a tutorial anyway but it's been made easier due to power creep. To piggyback off other comments, the first play through is locked to lower difficulties. ![]()
